My name is Lauren and my favorite hobby is to bake/cook vegan meals and snacks. I actively searched for new recipes over the summer and talked with other vegans via social media about the food they eat. I enjoy to create new snacks and treats that are tasty and healthy. My hope is that those around me will try my food as well. This year I tried for the first time dates and have loved them since then. They are a great and healthy ingredient to use for raw vegan snacks and treats. One of the sweets that I made with dates was from a picture I saw on Instagram.

These bite-sized treats were simply made from processing dates and walnuts. On top is strawberries mixed with dates, plus cacao nibs and goji berries. It was so sweet, almost better than dark chocolate.







I have so many other recipes and combinations of whole food ingredients that I hope to make in the near future. I am always learning more about veganism and all that it involves.
